If I were rich, one of my top interests, would be, how much interest my money was earning. But, I am not rich, at least, not in the monetary sense, so we'll skip that subject.
I am very interested in reading! I have loved reading, since I learned to read in Mrs. Jone's class in first grade. As my twin sister will tell you, I would even read the back of a soup can, out loud. (She has no idea, I still do.) I read fiction, non-fiction and poetry. Koonz and King come immediately to mind. There are many others, too, but with a memory like mine, I'm doing well to just remember that I love to read.'
I love to write! That's not to say that I am any good at it, hence this web-site. I can write whatever I want to write! Oh, the power! Isn't the internet a wonder?
I have a big interest in making chocolate chip cookies. They are my all time favorite homemade cookie.
My family is absolutely important to me. Spending time with them is one of my favorite things to do. Unless they get on my nerves but, that hardly ever happens. I have four grandchildren, ranging from 9 to 23 years old. They keep me on my toes! I pick up on their language without thinking. Thus, my neighbor's stare, when I asked him, "Watz up, dog"? One of my favorite days would be: freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, a pot of coffee, a good book (doesn't even have to be great, a good book would do) and Tom laying next to me. Please do not confuse a simple soul with being a simpleton. Thanks.
I love to drive. Driving on a sunny day, with all the windows down, playing music, loudly, on the radio, warms my heart and brings a smile to my face.
Collecting seashells, as I stroll along the beach, can keep me occupied for hours. When I want to feed the seagulls, I go to my special place, a sandy nook, on a jagged cliff, above the sea. It's one of my favorite places, just simply,to be.
